Tracy Murphy-Cipparone, M.Sc., B.Sc.

At the heart of Asha's Farm Sanctuary is Tracy Murphy-Cipparone, a dedicated steward driven by a profound divine calling. Operating as the sole hands and heart of the sanctuary, Tracy manages every aspect of this mission—from the intensive daily labor of rescue to the spiritual outreach of the community. Her journey is a courageous response to a direct mandate from Christ to practice mercy without exception, proving that true leadership is found in humble, solitary service.
The sanctuary's origin is inseparable from a profound moment of faith involving Albert, a newborn Jersey steer who was torn from his mother and discarded at an auction house. Tiny, alone, and still bearing his umbilical cord, Albert was near death when Tracy first saw him. Despite a veterinarian's recommendation for euthanasia due to a severe infection that left him unconscious, she refused to yield to despair.
Falling to her knees in a moment of ultimate surrender, Tracy prayed for a miracle, asking God to save his life if it be His will. Against all odds, Albert fought back and survived, living comfortably at the sanctuary for nearly 11 years. His miraculous recovery was the divine spark that inspired Tracy to leave her corporate career behind and commit fully to the sanctuary—vowing to be a voice for those who cannot speak.
Beyond the fences of the farmed animal refuge, Tracy acts as a guardian of the land and its wild inhabitants. By maintaining the sanctuary's forest and preserving its natural biodiversity, she ensures that the deer, raccoons, foxes, and all wild kin are free to live and enjoy the safety of the sanctuary. Through the addition of nature trails, she invites others to experience the peace of God's creation firsthand, honoring the spiritual belief that every creature, wild or domestic, is a precious part of the Creator's design.
Believing that mercy is a single, flowing grace, Tracy has established a ministry that honors the sanctity of all life.
Her work provides a sacred refuge for the vulnerable, transforming the sanctuary into a space where the Christian Tradition of Mercy and the "Roots of Compassion" are practiced daily.
In direct obedience to the command to feed those in need, Tracy established this pioneering program. It provides plant-based nourishment to the hungry, creating a liturgy of kindness that honors both the human and the animal while exploring the sacred intersection of faith and mercy.
Running a sanctuary is a testament to Tracy's discipline and devotion. Every animal mended and every meal served is an act of obedience to God who planted her in this mission. She remains a "scholar-practitioner" in the truest sense—with her feet in the soil of the sanctuary and her mind centered on the eternal truths of Christ's mercy.
